Students participate in NSS Camp organised by Guru Kashi University at Talwandi Sabo.
Talwandi Sabo, September 30, 2015: University College of Physical Education of Guru Kashi University Talwandi Sabo held one day NSS Camp. Dr.N.S Malhi, Vice Chancellor, S.Sukhraj Singh Sidhu Managing Director, Jasbir Singh Sidhu DSW and blessed and guided the students during the camp.Around 100 students of Physical Education College participated in the camp under the slogan “Not Me but You” with great zeal and enthusiasm. Dr. Kewal Singh, Director Sports welcomed the distinguished guests and encourage the students to put up their step forward in the camp whole heartedly as it encourages to do practically work in a team spirit. Prof. Satpal Singh and Prof. Pankaj Marok coordinators of NSS camp gave details of the activity carried out in the camp like tree plantation for a green environment, Campus cleanliness and proper maintenance of the track and field grounds.
Dr. N.S. Malhi, Vice Chancellor GKU lauded the efforts by the staff and students and stated that as per the slogan of NSS that the real meaning or objective of the education should be to serve the society for overall betterment.
