Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar sent medicines to five villages 

Hisar//Chandigarh: GJU Hisar is carrying out social and national responsibilities during the pandemic period. The university has adopted five villages. These include the villages of Bahbalpur, Satrod Kala, Mirzapur, Nangthala and Deva. The university has set up a counselling helpline in these five villages. For this, Prof. Sandeep Rana, a psychologist of the university, will advise the villagers. 

The Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar said that it is very important to make the villagers aware of the disease in time, for this the universities will have to discharge their responsibility. 

University Registrar Prof. Avinash Verma said that at this time there is a need to take steps in the village regarding covid, in which GJU is playing its important role. 

Sarpanch of Bahalpur village, Mr. Bhajanlal informed that sanitation has been sprayed in the village on behalf of GJU University and proper arrangements have been made for medicines, for which we thank the Vice Chancellor and University administration.
