Gurdwara Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana on Friday celebrate Sikh Environment Day dedicating it to the Gurgaddi Divas of Seventh Sikh Master, Guru Har Rai Ji.

Ludhiana, March 14, 2014: Gurdwara Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana today celebrated Sikh Environment Day dedicating it to the Gurgaddi Divas of Seventh Sikh Master, Guru Har Rai Ji, who was crowned this day as 7th Sikh Guru, while also celebrating in Gurdwara Nanakshahi New Year 546 with kirtan and ardas 'Bilhari Kudrat Waseya' (mingling with nature).
At this morning occasion, a awareness campaign and counselling of drug addicts was held by an expert from USA Dr Gurdial Singh.
Under plantation drive and to boost the coordinated project Go Green Sarabha Nagar with International Human Rights Organisation (IHRO) and other local NGOs, IHRO chairperson DS Gill, Gurdwara Sahiban Coordination Committee president Jatinder Singh Sandhu (also IHRO secretary -Public Relations) and many environmental activists, including Charandeep Singh, Charanjeet Singh, Tajinder Singh Rocks, planted new plants as fillers and did cleaning and pruning of the old plants, thereafter.
