Gulshan Devaiah, Rasika Dugal Starrer ‘Little Thomas’ Secures UA 7+ Censor Certificate Ahead of Festive Release

In a theatrical landscape where clean family entertainers remain a rarity, the makers of the upcoming 90s Goa-set feature Little Thomas have secured a UA 7+ rating from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
The censor certification positions the comedy-drama—starring Gulshan Devaiah and Rasika Dugal—as a perfect multi-generational outing for kids and families during the holiday season.
At a time when mainstream theatrical slates are predominantly dominated by heavy actioners, intense thrillers, and mature themes, films specifically designed for parents and children to enjoy together in cinemas have become an increasingly scarce commodity. `Little Thomas’ steps in to fill that void with a wholesome narrative centered on childhood innocence and family dynamics.
Speaking about the certification and the film’s holiday release, producer Ranjan Singh shared, “We’ve got a UA 7+ censor certification which makes Little Thomas, perfectly suited for the families to watch it together in the coming festive holidays. We anyway call the film a comedy for all ages, and have made it with utmost care and sincerity and are confident that the families will have a lot of fun watching it.”
Set against the backdrop of 1990s Goa, the film follows seven-year-old Thomas (Hridansh Parekh), who desperately wants a baby brother and takes it upon himself to reconcile his constantly quarreling parents (Gulshan Devaiah and Rasika Dugal).
Written and directed by Kaushal Oza, Little Thomas is produced by Luminoso Pictures, Civic Studios, Good Bad Films, and Flip Films, with producers Anushka Shah, Rajnikant Oza, Charu Oza, Ranjan Singh, Anurag Kashyap, Akshay Thakker, and Kabir Ahuja.
