Green Guard Campaign launched at Doaba College

Jalandhar, August 18, 2021: NSS Department of Doaba College, Jalandhar organized launch of Green Guard Campaign Sh. Karnesh Sharma, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Jalandhar graced the occasion as chief guest. He  was accorded a hearty welcome by Prof. Kanwaljit Singh Coordinator , Prof. Arshdeep Singh, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Prof. Vikas Jain, Dr. Rajnish Saini, Prof. Jaswinder Singh, staff members and 40 volunteers of NSS and NCC.

Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari  welcomed the chief guest and appreciated his sincere efforts for making Jalandhar city as one of the model cities of Punjab. He also explained the motive of campaign where students will not just click their geo-tagged photographs with plants but they will also guard it by regular watering and pruning. He said that the campaign aims at increasing the green cover of the Jalandhar city.
