GREEN DAY CELEBRATION AT SMD SCHOOL

Panchkula, July 12, 2019: Green Day was celebrated with greet zeal and enthusiasm at SMD Little Champ Smart School Sector 2 Panchkula. All the Little Champs and teachers came to school dressed in pretty green attires and looked eco friendly. The classrooms were beautifully decorated in green theme and all the green objects from a child’s immediate surroundings were brought to the classrooms. They were taught the identification and recognition of green fruits, vegetables, leaves and trees. Children brought green snacks and eatables in their tiffins. “Show and Tell” activity was conducted where children brought one green object from home and spoke a few lines in the Assembly on the same. Principal Ms Deepika explained the different virtues of green, its importance in the National Flag, Traffic Light etc. Students did leaf printing, vegetable printing etc. Director Mr Naresh Gupta conveyed the message that we should not cut trees and plant more and more trees.
