Grandparents given a few moments of relaxation
Grandparents Day celebration at Brilliance World School Panchkula, 13 July, 2019: It was a joyous moment for grandparents as they enjoyed the day thoroughly and participated actively in every games and activities during celebrations of Grandparents' Day at Brilliance World School, Panchkula. It may be mentioned here that the second Saturday of July is dedicated to the grandparents and their contribution towards the upcoming generation of the society. Games like dumb-charades, guess the tune and musical chairs were played. The grandparents shared some of their special memorable moments of their life. Speaking on the occasion, the school principal Niranjana Chatterjee, said that contradictory to the belief that grandparents were a retired lot, the situation in present society was that they were continuously involved with the life and upbringing of their children and grandchildren. “Keeping this in mind, we attempted to give them a few moments of relaxation coming out of their day to day commitments and also to recognize their contribution”, said the school principal. She too said that the grandparents enjoyed the day thoroughly and participated actively in every games and activities.
