Grand welcome of BJP State President Dr. Archana Gupta at Rohtak; calls upon party workers to completely wipe out the Congress in the 2029 Lok Sabha and Assembly elections
Rohtak, July 7, 2026: Addressing a welcome and felicitation ceremony held at the local New Grain Market on Monday, BJP State President Dr. Archana Gupta launched a scathing attack on the Congress party. She stated that while Haryana is the land of farmers, soldiers, and sportspersons, the Congress consistently meted out injustice and betrayal to these three groups during its tenure. She called upon party workers to completely wipe out the Congress in the 2029 Lok Sabha and Assembly elections and ensure the BJP's 'lotus' blooms across all four Assembly seats and the Lok Sabha seat in Rohtak district.
In her address, Dr. Archana Gupta remarked that under Congress rule, farmers' land was acquired to benefit a select few. She alleged that the farmers of the state would never forgive the Congress for the deception and injustice inflicted upon them. Taking a dig at Former CM Hoda, she said that the Congress's "Babu-Beta" (father-son) model fostered nepotism, dynastic politics, and regionalism in Haryana. Corruption was rampant during the Congress regime, and the state became known more for scams than for development. In contrast, the BJP has strengthened cadre-based politics within both the organization and the government.
She noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has undertaken numerous historic initiatives for the dignity and empowerment of women, such as the Ujjwala Yojana, 'Har Ghar Nal Se Jal' (tap water in every home), the provision of household toilets, and property registration in women's names. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini is also prioritizing the economic empowerment of women; through the 'Lado Lakshmi Yojana,' financial assistance of ₹2,100 is being provided to the accounts of eligible women.
Dr. Gupta pointed out that under Congress rule, farmers were given humiliatingly low compensation, whereas crores of farmers are now receiving direct financial assistance through the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. She added that Haryana is the first state in the country where 24 crops are being procured at the Minimum Support Price (MSP). Under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the government is procuring every single grain of the farmers' produce, while also providing extensive assistance for seeds, agricultural machinery, solar pumps, and other facilities.
Placing special emphasis on organizational expansion, Dr. Archana Gupta noted that Rohtak has gifted the nation numerous international athletes and brave soldiers. She called upon organizational office-bearers to bring more women, youth, and ex-servicemen into the BJP fold and to strengthen the organization right down to the booth level. The State President paid tribute to the struggles of senior BJP leader Dr. Mangal Sen, Maharshi Swami Dayanand Saraswati, and Sir Chhotu Ram.
Earlier, BJP workers welcomed State President Dr. Archana Gupta at various locations—including Makrauli Toll Plaza, Vita Milk Plant Chowk, Jind Bypass Chowk, Hisar Bypass Chowk, and Valmiki Chowk—with the beating of drums and a shower of flower petals. Upon her arrival at the New Grain Market, senior leaders and office-bearers, including former Minister Manish Grover, State Treasurer Ajay Bansal and former Rajya Sabha MP Ramchandra Jangra, greeted her with bouquets and garlands. Overwhelmed by the reception, Dr. Gupta remarked that this honor was not for an individual, but a tribute to the hard work of every dedicated BJP worker and the strength of the organization.
State Media Co-in-charge Shamsher Kharak, Mayor Ram Avatar, Jawahar Saini, former Mayor Manmohan Goyal, Pradeep Jain, District President Ranveer Dhaka, and other party office-bearers and workers were present on the occasion.
Dr. Archana Gupta, was accorded a civic reception by the Maharaja Agrasen Seva Sadan Trust upon her arrival in Rohtak. The Trust honored her by weighing her against coins, symbolizing the 'one brick, one rupee' principle of Maharaja Agrasen. She was also presented with a Trident—a symbol of power—a statue of Maharaja Agrasen, a memento, and an ‘angavastra’ (ceremonial stole).
