Jalaun, 24 June (HS): The Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath will be taken out on June 26 in Orai, on the lines of the Jagannath Yatra being taken out in Orissa state. The yatra will be taken out through the ISKCON centre and will end at the temple after a city tour.
ISKCON centre in-charge Madhav Das gave this information in a press conference on Saturday at Orai's Kaushal Market. He told me that the way Jagannath Prabhu's Rath Yatra is taken out all over India, similarly Jagannath Rath Yatra will be taken out in Orai city on June 26. This journey will start from Shyam Dham, situated on Kalpi Road, and reach the ISKCON temple via Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chauraha Ghanta Ghar. He said that devotees from different countries will also participate in the yatra, as well as people from the entire district.
