Grand Celebration of Sri Guru Ramdas Ji’s Parkash Purab in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, October 4, 2025: A grand Nagar Kirtan dedicated to Sri Guru Ramdas Ji’s Parkash Purab was organized today by Gurdwara Patshahi Dasvin, Sector 8-C, Chandigarh, with the support of various gurdwara committees, social and religious organizations, and the local sangat.
Member of Parliament Manish Tewari (Chandigarh), Rajya Sabha MP Satnam Singh Sandhu, and Chandigarh Congress President H.S. Lucky graced the occasion and extended greetings to the devotees.
Gurdwara President Sukhjinder Singh Bahil said the Nagar Kirtan was held with deep devotion and community participation. The beautifully decorated palki of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji was led by the Panj Pyare, accompanied by kirtan by women’s satsang groups, school children, and ragi jathas.
A vintage car display and floral shower machine were the highlights of the procession, which passed through major sectors of the city before concluding at Gurdwara Sahib, Sector 22. Devotees along the route offered warm welcomes and served langar, fruits, and refreshments.
