Khanna (Ludhiana), Sept 18, 2025: The government teachers of Khanna-1 Block handed over a cheque of Rs 2,02,700 to the Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond for Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to aid flood victims in Punjab.
Sond thanked them and described their initiative to support flood victims as commendable. He noted that teachers have previously made significant contributions to the holistic development of their schools. He also appealed to others to come forward to help flood victims so that this challenging time can be overcome with collective support.
Sond further said that standing with people in times of crisis is in the blood of Punjabis, and they have always helped those in need, whether in India or abroad.
