Govt. Invites Eligible Applications under Amended Policy for 1984 Riot-Affected Families
The Haryana Government has notified an amended provision under the Deployment of Contractual Persons Policy, 2022 to provide contractual employment opportunities to families affected by the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

Rohtak, December 15, 2025: The Haryana Government has notified an amended provision under the Deployment of Contractual Persons Policy, 2022 to provide contractual employment opportunities to families affected by the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.
Under the amended policy, one living family member of a person who lost his/her life during the 1984 riots is eligible for deployment through Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam Limited (HKRNL), subject to prescribed eligibility and educational qualifications.
In this regard, individuals/families who may be eligible under this provision and have not yet approached the authorities are requested to contact the District Administration, Rohtak for necessary guidance and verification. They can contact Room No. 102, Mini Secretariat, Rohtak or contact Mobile No. 8607602520.
Eligible persons are advised to carry relevant documents pertaining to their claim for preliminary verification. The District Administration appeals to all concerned families to come forward so that the benefits of the policy may reach the rightful beneficiaries in a timely manner.
