Governor Punjab releases pictorial work depicting “Sunrise Of Punjab” Calendar 2023 at Raj Bhawan

Chandigarh, January 5, 2023: Governor Punjab Banwari Lal Purohit today released Pictorial visuals depicting Sunrise of Punjab - “All seasons originate from the one Sun - ਸੂਰਜੁ ਏਕੋ ਰੁਤਿ ਅਨੇਕ” at Punjab Raj Bhavan, Chandigarh. The Pictorial theme compiled in form of Calendar 2023 contains the photographic depiction of beautiful Natural Sunrise locations of Punjab, prepared by Punjab’s eminent Author, Environmentalist and Nature Artist, Advocate Harpreet Sandhu under the guidance of Padma Dr. Surjit Patar. 

Governor Punjab Banwari Lal Purohit acknowledged the visionary effort of Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu for compiling this colossal venture highlighting the mesmerizing sunrise locations at the Banks of River Beas, Sutlej, Harike Pattan, Ranjit Sagar Dam and Punjab Agricultural University, with befitting message for humanity that Sun is the essence of life on Mother Earth, as all the seconds, minutes, hours, days, week day’s months and seasons originate from one Sun which symbolizes a new dawn, a new ray of hope, warmth and a bright new day to start a new page of life every day and stated that the scenic beauty of Sunrise visuals captured by Harpreet Sandhu will motivate people to rededicate themselves for preservation of nature.
