Dharamshala, October 7, 2019: Congress President for Himachal, Kuldeep Rathore said, “The situation of the country is not good today. The coming time is expected to be even worse. In the name of privatization, the BJP governments of the country and the state are selling government undertakings and properties.”
Addressing the media persons here today, he added there is total failure of law and order in the country and the state. BJP leaders have been silent on issues of public interests. Drug abuse has increased in the state and the real drug dealers are out of police control. Rathore said, “When we talk about Dharamshala city, it is clearly evident that the plans implemented by the Congress Government to develop the city have come to an end and the new schemes are not in site. The works of the Municipal Corporation and Smart City have come to a standstill.” He further criticised the BJP government of Himachal and said that the people of Dharamshala have now understood that BJP governments are always ignoring Dharamshala. He said, “Government machinery is being misused. BJP flags are being flown over government buildings for which Congress has lodged complaint with the Election Commission.
