Government Home Science College organised essay writing and declamation contest on 'spreading awareness among voters'

Chandigarh, December 15, 2021: The NSS Unit of Government Home Science College organised Declamation and Essay Writing Competition to create awareness regarding elections among the various stakeholders.  The rationale of this event was to generate awareness among people regarding election manifesto, voting rights and democracy.

In the Declamation competition, the participants shared their views on media and elections in the modern world and provided insightful set of observations on how media can be used efficiently in the elections. They also talked about Election Manifesto and its pertinent role in shaping the future course of any country.

More than 50 students participated in this event with full enthusiasm.

The principal of the college, Prof. Sudha Katyal applauded the efforts of the students and encouraged them to come forward and showcase their talent.
