Golden Jubilee celebration to be held on March 23

Ludhiana, March 19, 2014: The Department of medicine at Christian Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana, has been in existence since 1949, when Dr.Nancy Brash first initiated a clinical teaching programme for the MBBS undergraduate students.
The postgraduate course in internal Medicine was initiated in early 1960, with the first postgraduates completing their course in 1964. A total of 259 Post Graduates have been trained in Medicine so far.
2014 is a momentous year for the department, as it marks the 50th Anniversary of the Postgraduate course in Medicine. To commemorate this occasion, a Golden Jubilee celebration is being organized on 23rd of March 2014 in the College.
The programme will start with Chapel service, in morning, at 8:30 AM followed by a CME & dinner in the evening at Hotel Gulmor. All the post graduates of the college, present & past, are cordially invited and requested to contact the Department of Medicine on the following address:
