Global Politics, Viksit Bharat Issues Dominate Speech Contest; Gagan Wins

Rohtak, September 22, 2026: The Department of Political Science at Lal Nath Hindu College organised a speech competition featuring discussions on contemporary national and global issues.
Principal Dr Anil Kumar Taneja, who presided over the event, said such competitions help students develop logical thinking, communication skills and a better understanding of current affairs. He urged students to remain aware of national and international developments.
HoD Dr Rajni Kumari said students spoke on topics including the BRICS Summit 2026, Indian foreign policy, Viksit Bharat Vision-2047 and global politics. The event was conducted by student Muskan.
Dr Chitra Sharma, Dr Sumit Kumari Dahiya and Dr Rajni Kumari served as judges. Gagan won the first position, followed by Muskan in second, while Mohini and Jahan jointly secured third place. Nikita and Krishna received consolation prizes. The winners were honoured with awards.
