250+ camps will be run by registered MBBS Doctors, and trained nurses across Nalagarh & Baddi, Himachal Pradesh

GlaxoSmithKline Asia Private Limited partners with Sevamob to launch Primary healthcare Mobile Van in Nalagarh, Himachal

Nalagarh, December 7, 2022: GlaxoSmithKline Asia Private Limited, the makers of Sensodyne, in association with Health Department, Government of Himachal Pradesh and Sevamob (NGO) launched primary healthcare mobile van in Nalagarh, Himachal Pradesh. This program was launched by Dr. Mukta Rastogi, Block Medical officer, Nalagarh in presence of Kewal Krishna, Health Superintendent Nalagarh, GlaxoSmithKline Asia Private Limited representatives and Sevamob’s team.
 
The objective of the program is to increase the access of primary healthcare services to the communities at grassroot level. GlaxoSmithKline Asia Private Limited, makers of Sensodyne, will be financially supporting the camps under its CSR initiative. Under this program, Sevamob will conduct 250+ free primary healthcare camps per month across the district. Each camp will provide access to healthcare services to 70+ patients per day and about 19000+ patients over the next one year. These camps will be run by registered MBBS Doctors, and trained nurses. Doctors will conduct health check-ups on patients. The mobile van will provide free medicines along with eyeglasses, if required, as per the doctor’s prescription to the patients visiting the camp.
