GLADA organises special camp, hands over 150 plot NOCs to applicants

Ludhiana, February 25, 2023: With an aim to facilitate the residents in getting the NOCs issued against their plots in unauthorised colonies, Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (GLADA) organised a special camp in its premises on Ferozepur road on Saturday. 

During the camp, over 150 plot NOCs were handed over to the plot holders, who had applied for the same in the past. 

Working on the directions of GLADA Chief Administrator (CA) Amarpreet Kaur Sandhu, the authorities also answered the queries of the plot holders, who were facing issues in completing the formalities required for getting the NOCs issued from the department. Additional Chief Administrator (ACA) GLADA Kulpreet Singh and Estate Officer Baljinder Singh Dhillon were also present during the camp and answered the queries of the residents.  

CA GLADA Sandhu stated that as per the directions issued by the state government, initiatives are being taken to facilitate the public at large. The camp was organised with the sole motive of helping the plot holders in getting the NOCs against their plots in unauthorised colonies.

The public also appreciated the efforts put in by GLADA authorities to expedite the process of issuing NOCs.

One of the applicants to whom NOC was issued during the camp, Baldeep Singh stated that he had applied for NOC against his plot a few weeks back and he was properly guided by the GLADA authorities in completing the formalities. 

CA Sandhu stated that in many cases, the plot holders fail to complete the formalities/documentation which is required for getting the NOC issued from the department. This causes delay. During the camp, GLADA officials also helped the applicants to understand the process and complete the formalities. 

She further stated that the senior officials in the department are regularly monitoring the process of issuing NOCs and efforts are being put in to facilitate the public at large.
