GLADA issues 117 NOCs in last 18 days

Ludhiana, July 28, 2023: Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (GLADA) has issued 117 no-objection certificates (NOCs) for plots/properties falling under illegal colonies in the last 18 days. 

The process was briefly halted after the Google Earth Pro software used for verifying the images of properties had developed a snag and casuing inconvenience to the applicants. 

Later with the permission of Punjab government, GLADA started using Satellite Data Living Atlas Website for image capturing  and other features. The authority has issued 95  regularization certificates through online system and 22 certificates by offline medium from July 11 to 28. 

Further to dispose of the applications expeditiously, the GLADA has also deputed additional staff including two Assistant Town Planners in the office.
