GLADA today demolished 5 illegal colonies as per the order of Amarinder Singh Malhi, Additional Chief Administrator GLADA. Notices to these unauthorized colonies have already been issued under section 39 of PAPR Act 1995 (amended-2014).

Ludhiana, September 21, 2022: GLADA today demolished 5 illegal colonies as per the order of Amarinder Singh Malhi, Additional Chief Administrator GLADA. Notices to these unauthorized colonies have already been issued under section 39 of PAPR Act 1995 (amended-2014).
As per orders a special demolition team has been constituted under supervision of Dr. Baljinder Singh Dhillon, Estate Officer (Regulatory) GLADA and four S.D.E’s GLADA along with 3 J.E’s and Duty Magistrate Manvir Kaur Sidhu (Naib Tehsildar, Sahnewal) with police force.
Whole demolition drive has been secretly planned by Amarpreet Kaur Sandhu I.A.S Chief Administrator GLADA, Ludhiana. In this demolition GLADA demolished 5 colonies in 3 villages- Jaspal Bangar, Dharaur and Majara.
GLADA is also planning more demolition drives in upcoming weeks. Also, Chief Administrator GLADA appeals to general public not to purchase property/plots/buildings in unauthorized colonies as GLADA will not provide any facility like water supply, sewerage, electricity connections, street lights etc.
