GKU students snatch positions in Tech-Fest

Talwandi Sabo, March 6, 2014: Swami Vivekananda Institute of Engineering & Technology (SVIET) recently hosted Two day Technical-fest in association with Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE). Students from various colleges of North Zone participated in this Tech-Fest. Ten students from GGSCET, (Constituent College of GKU) participated in various events like technically strongest Robot War, Business Idea Presentation- Innovations, Face painting, Treasure hunt & Technical Advertisement show.  Performance of Guru Kashi University students have been excellent and they have won following prizes.

?             In Robowar team of Ankit Anand Jha (ECE 6th Sem), Yuvraj Singh (ME 6th Sem) & Danish Anwar  bagged 2nd position.

?             In Business Idea presentation- Innovation Ankit Jha (ECE 6th Sem) & Danish Anwar (ME 6th Sem) secured 3rd position.

?             In face painting Maninder Singh 4th Sem EE & Sandeep Singh 4th Sem EE won 2nd  position and

?             In  Technical  advertisement show   Mandeep Singh.

Sandeep Singh and Sunny secured 2nd position.

Dr. B.S Dhaliwal principal GGSCET said that students will be given more chances to participate in such Technical events.

Vice-Chancellor Dr. N.S Malhi lauded the efforts of  Er. Satinderjeet Singh, technical Co-ordinator and his award winning students for their praise worthy performance in Tech -Fest .
