GJU Vice-Chancellor Vijay Kumar: Let Your Work, Not Words, Showcase Your Talent

Hisar, August 31, 2026: Newly appointed Vice Chancellor of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUST), Prof. Vijay Kumar on Monday took stock of the university’s functioning and interacted with faculty, employees and student representatives who called on him to extend their greetings. Registrar Dr. Vijay Kumar was also present.
Prof. Vijay Kumar said talent should be demonstrated through performance, not mere words. He said he would devote adequate time to both Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa, and GJUST, with strengthening GJUST’s national and international reputation among his top priorities.
Calling students the university’s primary stakeholders, he said every effort would be made to provide them with a better academic environment and quality education. He urged teachers and employees to discharge their responsibilities with sincerity, dedication and accountability.
He said work done with honesty was the true service to society, the nation and the university.
Faculty, employees and student representatives assured the Vice-Chancellor of their cooperation and pledged to work with a positive approach in the larger interest of the university.
