Chandigarh: Gillco International School, one of the leading educational institutes of Mohali, organised a soulful annual function for its tiny tots on 6 December 2022. The event, ‘Mela: The Magic of Festivals’, was a happening evening with numerous activities for the students of the primary wing. Held at Tagore Theater. ‘Mela’ witnessed a massive footfall of students enjoying different games and exploring different cultures of our country. They witnessed the rich traditions of various religions in the celebration of festivals that fall round-the-year. 

The mesmerising rendition of musical blend and pure innocence was clearly visible as they enthralled the happy gatherers and replenished their spirits with sheer glee displaying "Unity in Diversity of Incredible India". The tiny tots danced and acted on stage, the true essence of Maharashtra, Kashmir, Punjab, Bengal, Rajasthan, Goa, etc. was put forward in a spectacular way, the end note of the event was an energetic bhangra performance by the students that forced everyone to enjoy the rhythm. 

The faculty of the school is determined to provide exposure to students for good academics and simultaneously ensure that they enjoy the most joyful moments of this age in their school. Students at Gillco International School enjoy the best opportunities to carve their skills and excel in their respective fields. 

Children enjoyed a lot amidst cultural festivities, food stalls, etc.  and danced their hearts out to their favourite tunes.
