Ludhiana, October 21, 2013: A tete-a-tete with residents of Omaxe Royal Residency at the site in Ludhiana, celebrated ghazal Maestro Ghulam Ali enthralled the audience with his down-to-earth attitude and some beautiful compositions, most noteworthy being “Chupke Chupke Raat din..”.
The singer traced his acquaintance and love for Ludhiana through Sahir Ludhianvi, the popular Urdu poet and lyricist and appreciated the development efforts of Omaxe in the city. The Maestro was very impressed with the township, the beautiful landscape, the greenery, open and clean space and the artistic construction of the project. Spending an hour at the Omaxe Royal Residency site, the residents were spellbound by Ali’s words of wisdom about art, music, Pakistan and much more. The audience from as far as Chandigarh, Amritsar and even Delhi had gathered.
The gathering comprised hardcore music aficionados who have reveled in the music of Ghulam Ali. Expressing his years learning and mastering the art, Ali said during his times music was learnt in the company of guru through dedication and respect. The singer said he owed his success to his fans and expressed gratitude with the amount love he has received from the city. It was a perfect confluence of the two giants – Ghulam Ali and real estate major Omaxe.
