GGNIMT successfully conducts college round of NFLQ 2026

Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT) successfully conducted the college round of the National Financial Literacy Quiz (NFLQ 2026), an initiative of the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) under the aegis of SEBI. Organized by the Investors’ Club of GGNIMT in online mode, the quiz witnessed enthusiastic participation from 113 students of BBA, B.Com (Hons.), and MBA programmes.

Ludhiana, May 8, 2026: Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT) successfully conducted the college round of the National Financial Literacy Quiz (NFLQ 2026), an initiative of the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) under the aegis of SEBI. Organized by the Investors’ Club of GGNIMT in online mode, the quiz witnessed enthusiastic participation from 113 students of BBA, B.Com (Hons.), and MBA programmes.
The competition aimed at promoting financial awareness and enhancing students’ understanding of securities markets through a structured national-level platform. Students actively participated in the quiz, showcasing their financial knowledge and analytical abilities. Harshdeep Singh, Amritpal Singh, and Khushi Nayyar secured top positions and were awarded cash prizes for their commendable performance.
Himani Lath, SEBI Smart Trainer, served as the expert coordinator from NISM and guided students on important financial concepts while ensuring the smooth conduct of the event. Prof. Manjit Singh Chhabra, Director, GGNIMT, appreciated the initiative and stated that financial literacy has become an essential life skill in today’s rapidly changing economic environment. He added that such platforms equip students with informed financial decision-making abilities and prepare them for future challenges.
Dr. Harpreet Singh, Principal, GGNIMT, also lauded the efforts of the participants and organizers. He remarked that participation in academic and co-curricular activities at the national level contributes significantly towards the holistic development of students by enhancing both their confidence and knowledge.
The event was efficiently coordinated by Dr. Damini Chhabra and Prof. Gurleen Kaur, Assistant Professors and Club Coordinators of the Investors’ Club. The programme concluded on an encouraging note, with students expressing enthusiasm to participate in the higher rounds of the competition and further strengthen their financial acumen.
