GGNIMT HMCT students showcase their hospitality skills
GGNIMT Civil Lines, Hotel Management students recently had the privilege of serving the Honourable Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann during the inauguration ceremony of the TATA Steel Plant at Dhanansu, Ludhiana. 40 GGNIMTians served as members of the outdoor catering team for Hotel Radisson Blu Ludhiana.

Ludhiana, March 20, 2026: GGNIMT Civil Lines, Hotel Management students recently had the privilege of serving the Honourable Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann during the inauguration ceremony of the TATA Steel Plant at Dhanansu, Ludhiana. 40 GGNIMTians served as members of the outdoor catering team for Hotel Radisson Blu Ludhiana.
The event, attended by the Chief Minister and Punjab Cabinet Ministers, was a valuable learning experience for the students. Lakshya (BHMCT 2nd sem) and Khush Karan Singh (BHMCT 6th sem) were among the students who participated. Their participation enabled them into gaining insights regarding VIP handling and hospitality management.
Dr. Harpreet Singh, Principal, GGNIMT, applauded the students efforts and assured them of more opportunities in the future for their professional growth. He also congratulated the Head Prof. Shantimani Sathwara and Prof. Honey Chawla for mentoring the team. Prof. Manjit Singh Chhabra, Director, GGNIMT, praised the students for their participation. These students also received certificates from Hotel Radisson Blu for their keen participation during the event.
