GGN Khalsa College starts online classes for students 

Ludhiana: Gujranwala Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Ludhiana keeping the promise of providing better and quality education has initiated the online classes during this phase of pandemic disease, named Corona virus, which has forced the center and state administration to opt for the lockdown for a longer duration. 

Dr Arvinder Singh, college Principal, told that taking the lockdown period into consideration, the college has started providing online education to all the students. The students of undergraduate and post-graduate classes of the college have been contacted to establish the online link to study at home which will curb the menace of sitting idle during this lockdown phase. The teachers are exhaustively making use of E-Pathshala, E-mail, WhatsApp, Google Classroom, ZOOM App, G.G.N. Media (college YouTube Channel) etc. to provide the students requisite study material in the form of Video/Audio lectures, PPT, PDF files, Scanned notes, etc.  He further mentioned that the students are asked to be in touch with their teachers and prepare for their semester examination with the help of the study material provided. The teachers are taking online tests from time to time to keep a check on the students’ learning and preparation. The parents of the college students have also been contacted and requested to guide their children to utilize this precious time in a productive manner while revising the study material uploaded by their teachers and ask their queries if they have any. He also said that the teachers of Gujranwala Guru Nanak Khalsa College are committed to provide quality education to their students even during this lockdown phase through e-contents. 

Dr Arvinder Singh  also said that it is mandatory for the students to pay heed to their studies along with abiding by the rules of the government of staying at home, keeping oneself clean and hygiene. He said that under the dynamic leadership, guidance and supervision of the President of Gujranwala Khalsa Educational Council, Dr. S. P. Singh, (former Vice-Chancellor, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar) and Hon. Gen. Secy. S. Arvinder Singh, the entire staff members of the college are meeting the needs of their students dedicatedly.
