Navratri is a festival that brings with it music, celebration, family and cherished traditions. For many, it is a time to come together, enjoy garba nights and celebrate the festive spirit with loved ones. Sharing what makes Navratri special to them, Ashwin (Samridh Bawa) and Shanaya (Muskan Bamne) from Sony SAB’s Pushpa Impossible open up about their favourite traditions and the personal memories they associate with the festival.
Samridh Bawa who essays the role of Ashwin, shared, “One of my favourite things about Navratri is visiting different pandals during the festival. I love seeing how every pandal has its own atmosphere, decorations and energy, and it is always nice to experience that with family and friends. I also look forward to the food during Navratri, especially getting to try different festive dishes and vrat-friendly preparations. Celebrating on the set of Pushpa Impossible has been equally special because we get to bring that festive spirit into Bapodra Chawl and celebrate these little moments together.”
Muskan Bamne who essays the role of Shanaya, shared, “For me, Navratri is all about dressing up in my favourite ghagra choli and going out to play garba with my friends. I love the whole excitement of getting ready, choosing an outfit and then dancing together to the music. It is such a fun and energetic festival and I always look forward to spending those evenings with my friends. We have also celebrated Navratri during the shoot of Pushpa Impossible, so it has been lovely to bring some of that festive energy to the set as well.”
