Gandhi Jayanti Celebrated through Cleanliness Drive at UIET, PU

Chandigarh, October 2, 2021: On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, 2nd October 2021,  Cleanliness Drive was organized by NSS UIET Panjab University.
In this event many NSS volunteers took part with joy and received certificates in return. Dr. Shankar Sehgal, NSS Programme Officer inspired the volunteers for national service through this cleanliness drive. This drive was a small step towards building up the spirit of nationality among young minds. Dr. Vivek Kumar and Dr. Praveen Goyal also graced the occasion. The event was managed by the student coordinators Virat Pratap Singh, Ganga Batra, Ritik Thakur, Tryammbak Kansal and others.
The drive would also be helpful in inculcating the spirit of cleanliness in our day to day lives. The event was smooth and imbibed the spirit of keeping our nation and environment clean in alignment with the Swachh Bharat Mission of Indian Government.
