Civil flights resumed at Gaggal Airport in Dharamsala today, after services were suspended due to Operation Sindhur on May  7.

Dharamshala, May 14, 2025: Civil flights resumed at Gaggal Airport in Dharamsala today, after services were suspended due to Operation Sindhur on May  7.

According to Dhirendra Singh, Airport Director of Gaggal Airport, commercial passenger flights resumed on May 14. Indigo operated a Delhi–Dharamsala–Delhi flight carrying 53 passengers to Dharamsala, with 10 passengers departing for Delhi.

Alliance Air also operated two flights: one from Delhi carrying 33 passengers and returning with 30, and another from Shimla which arrived with 4 passengers and departed with 8.

Before the suspension, Gaggal Airport handled seven flights daily from Delhi, two from Chandigarh, and one each from Shimla and Kullu.
