Full dress rehearsal regarding republic day function to be held on Jan 24: ADC(G)

Ludhiana, January 17, 2022: Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Rahul Chaba today informed that the full dress rehearsal regarding district-level Republic Day celebrations would be held at Guru Nanak Stadium, here, on January 24, 2022. A meeting to review the arrangements for the district level Republic Day celebrations slated to take place on January 26 was chaired by the ADC (G) at Guru Nanak Stadium, here today.

This meeting was also attended by DCP Simrat Pal Singh Dhindsa, ADCP Dr Pragya Jain, MC Joint Commissioner Ankur Mahindroo, DRO Pardeep Singh Bains, besides head of all government departments.

ADC Rahul Chaba informed that in view of Covid 19 pandemic and the government directions, no cultural function or PT show would be organised on the occasion. He also appealed to all city residents to celebrate our Republic Day as a National festival.

He said all people attending this district level function must be wearing masks and should follow Covid appropriate behaviour. He said that every officer must ensure that people participating in this function should not face any kind of problem.
