FUJIFILM India strengthens its presence in Gujarat with new Ahmedabad office
Ahmedabad, August 27, 2026: FUJIFILM India, a subsidiary of FUJIFILM Corporation, Japan, announced the opening of its new office in Ahmedabad, marking a significant step in its long-term growth and investment strategy in India. Ahmedabad is a key economic hub in Gujarat and the seventh-largest urban agglomeration in India, with the state recording a 12% CAGR in its economy between 2011 and 2021, surpassing the national average of 10.4%. FUJIFILM India's businesses already have a strong user base and presence in the city, making the new office a natural next step in the company's growth journey and enabling it to further strengthen its engagement with customers and partners in the region.
The new office of FUJIFILM India will serve as the headquarters for FUJIFILM Electronic Materials (FFEM) in India. The office will support FFEM in developing and supplying materials for semiconductor packaging and fabrication, including materials for the growing OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) ecosystem.
