Speaking on the occasion Madhu Sudan Dadu, All India President, Laghu Udyog Bharati; said, Laghu Udyog Bharati is a unique, pan-India organization representing MSMEs, with a strong presence across all the 28 states and a network of over 75,000 members and is the largest MSME association. We work closely with Central and State Governments, offering valuable inputs on MSME policy drafting and implementation, so much so that governments actively seek its insights. Laghu Udyog Bharati gathers feedback from the members, analyses industry challenges, and presents actionable recommendations to policymakers. Our Telangana chapter stands out as one of the most dynamic, contributing significantly to MSME development. Laghu Udyog Bharati also provides a robust digital platform that enables members nationwide to connect and do business. Through industry-specific meets, members collaborate on challenges and solutions, which are further taken up with the government to guide policy decisions. In collaboration with academia, IITs, research and management institutes, we help members stay updated and improve efficiency. Notably, our “100 Days – 100 Technologies” initiative with CSIR, a reputed Government of India Research Lab; enabled members to adopt innovative solutions with tangible benefits. Two of our Telangana members adopted such solutions and immensely benefitted. Additionally, partnerships with over 100 ITIs help shape industry-relevant curricula, creating a skilled workforce that directly meets MSME needs while generating employment opportunities.
V. Venkateswarlu, State President, TG LUB, said, Today, at the EC meeting of Laghu Udyog Bharati, we resolved to expand our presence across all 13 districts of Telangana, strengthening our role as a voice for MSMEs before State and Central Governments. We continue to actively represent industry challenges, and our consistent engagement has led to positive government responses and resolution of key issues related to policies and GOs. Addressing the skill gap, we initiated discussions with ITI principals to align curricula with industry needs. This led to an MoU that has already facilitated employment for around 200 students. We also bridged the gap between innovation and industry by connecting MSMEs with IICT’s repository of over 2,600 ready-to-use technologies. Through organized visits, our members gained valuable exposure, with several already adopting these technologies to enhance efficiency and innovation in their operations.
K. Narendranath Dath, State General Secretary, TG LUB, said, Laghu Udyog Bharati is a voluntary all India organisation working focussed on the welfare of MSMEs. We have 600 members in Telangana alone. Our slogan is Made in India, made for the world.
