From Machine Tools to Smart Factories, Pune to Host a New Manufacturing Platform
To connect India’s rapidly evolving manufacturing sector with advanced technologies and modern solutions, the Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) will organise the Pune Machine Tool Expo (PMTX) 2026 along with the Factory Equipment Expo (FACTEQ) 2026 from September 7 to 10 at the Pune International Exhibition and Convention Centre (PIECC), Moshi.
Mumbai (Anil Bedag): To connect India’s rapidly evolving manufacturing sector with advanced technologies and modern solutions, the Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) will organise the Pune Machine Tool Expo (PMTX) 2026 along with the Factory Equipment Expo (FACTEQ) 2026 from September 7 to 10 at the Pune International Exhibition and Convention Centre (PIECC), Moshi.
The mega industrial show will feature more than 175 exhibitors showcasing machine tools, metal cutting and forming technologies, tooling, automation, robotics, metrology and digital manufacturing technologies. FACTEQ will focus on factory equipment, material handling, industrial infrastructure, energy-efficient systems and smart factory solutions.
Jibak Dasgupta, Director General and CEO, IMTMA, said, “Today, manufacturers are looking not just for machines, but for end-to-end technology solutions. Live demonstrations and direct interaction with technology providers will help them make better investment decisions.”
A large number of business visitors from the automotive, aerospace, engineering, capital goods and MSME sectors are expected to attend the expo. Besides showcasing the latest technologies, the event will serve as an important platform for business networking, discovering new suppliers and building technology partnerships.
