From Fresh Faces to Confident Performers: GGNIMT Hosts Aagman & Reflexion 2026

Ludhiana, September 26, 2026: It was a celebration of talent, imagination and youthful exuberance at Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT), Ghumar Mandi, as the campus turned into a vibrant hub of creativity with Aagman 2026 and Reflexion 2026.
While Aagman 2026 marked the much-awaited welcome of the new entrants and gave them their first taste of official college celebrations, Reflexion 2026, the intra-college literary, fine arts and cultural extravaganza, brought together students from different streams on a common platform to compete, create and express themselves.
Scores of students from BCA, BBA, B.Com (Hons.), BHMCT, B.Sc. Fashion Designing, MBA and MCA participated enthusiastically in a wide spectrum of events including Singing, Dancing, Fresher’s Contest, Creative Writing, PowerPoint Presentation, Collage Making, Poster Making, Quiz, Poem Recitation, Rangoli, Declamation, Still Photography, Salad Making and Mehndi.
The campus wore a particularly colourful look as students showcased their artistic flair through Rangoli, Mehndi, Poster Making and On-the-Spot Painting. The Still Photography participants turned photographers for the day, capturing candid smiles across the campus on the theme ‘Smile’. The Collage Making competition on ‘World Peace’ saw students giving creative expression to a powerful universal message, while budding cartoonists presented their take on ‘The World Today’ with wit and imagination.
The intellectual and communication skills of the participants came to the fore during the PowerPoint Presentation, Declamation, Creative Writing and Quiz competitions. Paper presentations revolved around contemporary and thought-provoking themes including Challenges for AI, Indian Economy at Present, Brand Punjab, Relevance of Fashion, Young Indians and their Food Habits, and Wastage of Food.
The Declamation competition encouraged students to reflect on themes close to their lives, including ‘Personality I Admire’, ‘Gen Z and its Responsibilities’, ‘What My Parents Want from Me’, ‘Life Without Gadgets’ and ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan – A Way to Develop India’.
The Quiz competition further tested the students’ knowledge across Business, IT, Sports, Current Affairs, Entertainment and Books, making it a keen contest of awareness, knowledge and quick thinking.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. S.P. Singh, President, Gujranwala Khalsa Educational Council and Former Vice Chancellor, GNDU, and S. Harsharan Singh Narula, General Secretary, Gujranwala Khalsa Educational Council, congratulated the students and welcomed the new entrants to their college journey. They highlighted the importance of actively participating in co-curricular and recreational activities, observing that college life becomes richer when students make the most of opportunities beyond academics.
Dr. Harpreet Singh, Principal, GGNIMT, congratulated the participants for their enthusiastic involvement and said that challenges are an inevitable part of life. He encouraged students to participate actively in diverse activities, as such experiences help build confidence, develop skills and prepare young minds to face challenges with greater self-assurance.
Aagman 2026 and Reflexion 2026 proved that a campus is not merely a place where students attend classes—it is a space where confidence is built, creativity finds a voice and memories are created. The celebrations provided students with an opportunity to step out of their comfort zones, discover their talents and experience the vibrant spirit of college life.
The colourful celebrations thus set the tone for a year of learning, participation, creativity and countless new beginnings at GGNIMT.
