After graduating from LSE and beginning her corporate career in Spain, the 22-year-old Diza made a bold decision to change the course of her life and pursue Hindustani music as her future.

Mumbai (Anil Bedag): Some dreams are bigger than the security of a corporate desk, and some voices emerge from deep within the heart to carve their own path. Diza Saxena’s journey is one such story. After graduating from LSE and beginning her corporate career in Spain, the 22-year-old Diza made a bold decision to change the course of her life and pursue Hindustani music as her future.
Eight years of classical music training have given her a strong foundation, on which she is now building her own distinctive identity. Through her musical evening, ‘Baitho Na’, in Mumbai, Diza brought together semi-classical music, ghazals, Urdu poetry and contemporary sounds, creating a unique blend that combines tradition with the freshness of Gen Z.
Her performances of ‘Lag Ja Gale’, ‘In Aankhon Ki Masti’, a tribute to Jagjit Singh and ‘Chhap Tilak’ won the hearts of music lovers.
Diza has lived in five countries and travelled to more than 50 countries. From intimate gatherings at home in Dubai to the stages of Mumbai, she is now moving towards establishing her own identity in the world of Indian music. She believes that the true beauty of music lies in preserving its heritage while presenting it in a language that resonates with today’s generation.
