Chandigarh, September 13, 2026: The city is set to host a major platform for the catering, hospitality and food industry as Chefex India 2026, an initiative of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), will be held from September 18 to 20 at Parade Ground, Chandigarh. The three-day exhibition will remain open from 10 am to 6 pm.
With the theme “Business, Innovation & Tradition on One Floor,” the first edition of Chefex India will showcase products, technologies and solutions across catering, hospitality essentials, food processing and retail. According to the organisers, it will be North India’s largest catering, hospitality essentials and food expo.
The B2B exhibition will bring together industry leaders, suppliers, institutional buyers, HoReCa professionals, food entrepreneurs, government bodies and emerging brands on a common platform. Companies dealing in catering infrastructure, hospitality equipment and solutions, food-processing technologies and allied sectors will showcase their latest offerings.
The three-day expo aims to provide businesses with opportunities for technology adoption, sourcing, partnerships, networking and market expansion. Special focus will also be placed on the wider food supply chain, including sourcing, cold chain, packaging and last-mile delivery.
Karan Gilhotra, Chair–Punjab, PHDCCI, said, “Chefex India 2026 is more than an exhibition; it is an opportunity to bring the entire catering, hospitality and food ecosystem onto one platform. Chandigarh is an ideal gateway to the North Indian market, and through this initiative we aim to connect businesses, innovators, buyers and suppliers while creating new opportunities for collaboration and growth. We look forward to making the first edition a strong platform for business, innovation and knowledge exchange.”
The PHDCCI initiative is expected to provide a significant platform for North India’s rapidly expanding F&B and hospitality ecosystem. Organisers believe Chefex India 2026 will help create new business connections between buyers and suppliers while encouraging innovation, investment and growth across the sector.
