Rohtak, October 4, 2026: The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) hosted a vibrant freshers’ party to welcome newly admitted students.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from juniors and seniors, with students showcasing their talent through singing, dance, acting and a range of fun-filled activities. Interactive tasks and performances provided the newcomers an opportunity to display their creativity and confidence.
Senior and junior students also participated together in several activities, creating a lively and friendly atmosphere.
Faculty members Prof Harish Kumar, Dr Benul Tomar, Sunit Mukherjee and Dr Naveen Kumar encouraged the students and wished them success in the new academic session. They said such events help build confidence among students and foster better interaction and cooperation between seniors and juniors.
Research scholars, senior students and freshers participated enthusiastically in the programme, which offered a cheerful and memorable start to the new academic session.
