Jalandhar, September 14, 2025: Hind Sewa Samiti (Rashtriya) today organized a Free Ration Distribution Camp at Janata Mandir, Pucca Bagh, Jalandhar, where ration was distributed to 33 needy families. Retired Chief Engineer, Public Health Department, Punjab, Er. Raj Kumar Talwar was present as the Chief Guest.
H.S.S. (R) President Sunil Sharma said that his only vision is to carry forward selfless social service dedicated to society. Chief Guest Er. Raj Kumar Talwar, in his address, emphasized that “true service towards humanity lies in helping needy families.” He appreciated the contribution of all donors who made this noble initiative possible and commended the Samiti for its continued commitment to welfare activities.
Hind Sewa Samiti (Rashtriya) General Secretary and BJP State Executive Member Rajat Kumar Mohindru highlighted that the society has been working since 1989 and has consistently upheld the spirit of social service with the blessings and support of donors. He further mentioned that Hind Samachar Group of Newspapers Editor Padma Shri Vijay Kumar Chopra has always encouraged and praised the Samiti’s work, while Joint Editor Avinash Chopra has consistently motivated the members to continue their efforts.
Among those present on the occasion were BJP Former District President Subash Sood, Councilors Tarsem Lakhotra and Pawan Kumar, Mohinder Pal Pundit, Parbhat Kamboj, Arun Handa, Varinder Kumar Sharma, Yash Phelwan, Shammi Kannaujia, Rajesh Sharma, Retired PNB Bank Manager Vijay Sharma, and several others.
