Free medical check-up camp organised by Sudhar College

Ludhiana, May 31, 2022: The Department of Medical Lab Technology of Guru Hargobind Khalsa College, Gurusar Sudhar (Ludhiana) organized a medical check-up camp at Chakk Kalan, District Ludhiana. Head of the Department, Prof. Karamjeet Kaur, Prof. Harpal Kaur and Prof. Kamalpreet Kaur supervised the camp activities. Various medical tests - Hemoglobin, Blood Group, Blood Sugar, WIDAL, Urea, Creatinine, Uric Acid, RA, Bilirubin, SGOT, SGPT,  Cholesterol, etc. were conducted on more than 200 students and others from nearby villages. 

Addressing the inaugural function of the camp, Principal of Government Senior Secondary School, Harpreet Kaur said that education acquires the practicality only if it is used for the betterment of humanity and Guru Hargobind Khalsa College, Gurusar Sudhar is playing a vital role in the same direction by setting up such camps in the villages. 

Principal of GHG Khalsa College, Dr. Harpreet Singh said that every department of the college is committed to serve the society. He further added that the Department of Medical Lab Technology was started to fulfill the medical needs of the time and area. 'Medical Lab Technology' and 'Food Processing and Quality Management' are such courses which do not waste the hard work of any student as a student gets eligible for One Year Diploma after the first year, for Advance Diploma after the second year and for a Degree after the third year. 

On this occasion, among others, Prof. Inderjit Singh, Lab Attendant Sadhna Kumari, etc. were present.
