Free heart & medical check-up camp organised by Hero DMC Heart Institute on Republic day

Ludhiana, January 26, 2014: A free heart & medical check-up camp was organised by Hero DMC Heart Institute on the occasion of 65th Republic Day at Mansa. Dr.Naved Aslam DM (Cardiologist) at Hero DMC Heart Institute led the team of doctors & Technicians which also included Dr.Rakendra.

Around 200 patients were examined in the camp along with free consultations, Blood sugar tests, Echocardiography, ECG & Medicines.

According to Dr.Naved Aslam, mostly people of general population ignore the chest pain and take pain killers but that could be symptoms of coming heart attack or cardiac disease. So in now lifestyle people should go for routine checkup. Hypertension, lack of exercise, improper or high fat diet, smoking, tobacco, alcohol etc are major contributing factors leading to Cardiac & other health problems. However lifestyles modifications including proper diet, regular exercise, avoid smoking etc can prevent major cardiac problems.

Hero DMC Heart Institute always take initiatives to promote awareness in general population about heart problems by organising free medical camps at different places on regular interval so that common public can be benefited which is the main motive of the camp.

The camp has attracted people from nearby villages also.
