Four prizes for Guru Kashi University at ISTE Zonal Convention 2013

Talwandi Sabo, October 29, 2013: North Zone Convention of Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE) was held at Rayat Institute of Engineering & Information Technology, Ropar on October 26 and 27.
The students from Technical Institutes of Punjab, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir participated in various technical competitions. The performance of Guru Kashi University (GKU) team was excellent leading to winning of four prizes by students of Guru Gobind Singh College of Engineering & Technology of the University. These students were namely Kundan Kumar (Best B.Tech. Project, Electronics & Communication Engineering), Sadhna Singh (Best Female Student Award), Kundan Kumar (Best Male Student Award), Kaushal Kumar (Best B.Tech. Project, Electrical Engineering).
This is the third consecutive year that GKU is winning Best Students & Best Projects Award at ISTE conventions. Sukhraj Singh, MD, Guru Kashi University congratulated the prize winners.
Dr. N.S. Malhi, Vice Chancellor of GKU commended the faculty of GGSCET for effective guidance to the students and motivated the staff to ignite the hidden talent of the students.
Dr. B.S. Dhaliwal, Dean Academics told that prize winning trend by GGSCET at ISTE conventions will be maintained in future also. www.cityairnews.com
