Four day CT Seven Side Football Tournament 2021 concludes at CT Group

Jalandhar: A four day CT Seven Side Football Tournament 2021 concluded at CT Group of Institutions, South Campus, Shahpur in which 32 teams from various villages and clubs competed with each other.  Teams from Sansarpur Football Club, Baba Diwan Singh Academy, Police DAV Public School, GGS Stadium, Mithapur Football Club and Kartarpur Football Club etc participated with utmost zeal and preparation. The teams for semi finals were Mithapur Football Club vs Tanda Takker FC and Doaba Football Academy vs BDFSC Khera played the final match.

The team Mithapur Football Club has won the tournament trophy along with the cash prize of Rs. 11,000, followed by team Doaba Football Academy won Runner-Up trophy along with Rs. 5,100.

The tournament was closed by CT Group Campus Director Dr. Rahul Malhotra along with the presence of Deputy Dean Student Affairs Davinder Singh, Dean Academics Dr. Anupamdeep Sharma and Sports In-Charge Satpal.

On this occasion, Campus Director Dr. Rahul Malhotra, said, “I congratulate the winning teams and also appreciate the sincere efforts of participating teams as they have played quite well. Participation in sports and games help us to balance our personalities and the students can display their stamina and strength. The combination of mind and strength also proves beneficial in the curricular performance.”
