Four booked for producing “fake certificates” to get job
The police has booked four persons including a woman for producing “fake” while applying for the post as “Gramin Sewaks” in the post office.

Ferozepur, December 19, 2023: The police has booked four persons including a woman for producing “fake” while applying for the post as “Gramin Sewaks” in the post office.
While divulging the details, ASI Raman Kumar from Cantt police station said that the police had received a complaint from the Supdt. Post Office that the accused identified as Dalip Sharma resident of Tasir Wala village, Sarabjit Singh resident of Jhugge Gulab Singh Wala, Chiman Singh resident of Amir Khas village (all in Fazilka district) and Deepika resident of city area, had applied for the post of “Gramin Sewaks” in 2020.
“The minimum qualification for this job was matriculation. During the scrutiny of the documents, it was found that these accused had produced fake metric certificates following which the complaint was submitted by the Supdt. Post office to the police”, said ASI Raman Kumar.
“After the preliminary investigation, the accused was booked by the police under sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 120-B Dated 136 Dated 18.12.2023.
