Founder's Day Celebration at Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar, Honours Dr. Stya Paul's Legacy

Jalandhar: Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar, celebrated its Founder's Day with great fervor and reverence, marking the 104th  birth anniversary of its esteemed founder, Dr. Stya Paul,who was a  multifaceted personality, an industrialist, educationist, freedom fighter, and philanthropist and whose vision gave rise to the Apeejay Education Society. His vision emphasized value-based holistic education, nurturing thinking skills, and preparing students for lifelong learning.The event, graced by the school's Principal, Sangeeta Nistandra, began with a floral tribute to Dr. Stya Paul by the Principal and the school's coordinator, Deepti Kaushal. This solemn moment was followed by a rendition of Dr. Stya Paul's favorite bhajan by the students. A captivating video portrayed the extraordinary journey of Dr. Stya Paul, highlighting his achievements and contributions in various fields. The audience was then treated to a captivating theatrical performance, "Tujhko Chalna Hoga," which vividly portrayed the remarkable moments and enduring legacy of Dr. Stya Paul.Principal Sangeeta Nistandra addressed the gathering and read out a message from President Sushma Berlia, sharing inspirational words with everyone present.

One of the most cherished traditions of Founder's Day at Apeejay School is the presentation of the Dr. Stya Paul Award for Human Values. This prestigious award is bestowed upon two students who exemplify deep human values and a high level of integrity in their behavior and conduct. The winners for the session 2023-24 were announced by the school's coordinator, with Arnav Chopra of class VII and Gurvir Singh Mann of class VIII receiving this esteemed honor. The Principal and Coordinator felicitated the winners for their exceptional values.Parents also had the opportunity to share their feelings and express their gratitude for the school's commitment to holistic education.The celebration culminated with a mesmerizing performance by the talented Apeejayites, who enthralled the audience with the song, "Soaring High is My Nature," and concluded with the rendition of the national anthem, filling the air with a sense of pride and unity.
