Fortis Hospital Strengthens Emergency & Trauma Services with Launch of Dedicated Polytrauma Team

Ludhiana, October 9, 2025: Fortis Hospital, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana, today announced the launch of a dedicated Polytrauma Team, marking a significant step towards strengthening the hospital’s emergency and trauma care capabilities in the region. The initiative has been launched under the hospital’s new emergency awareness campaign, “Fortis Hai Na!”, which aims to raise awareness on emergency preparedness and reinforce trust in timely, expert-led critical care.

The Polytrauma Team, led by Dr. Abhimanyu Sharma, Head – Emergency, brings together senior specialists from key medical disciplines to provide integrated, life-saving care for critical trauma cases. The team includes Dr. Sanjeev Mahajan (Director – Orthopaedics), Dr. Vishnu Sharma (Director – Neuro Surgery), Dr. Harish Matta (Director – General Surgery), Dr. Karan Bakshish (Sr. Consultant – Plastic Surgery) and Dr. Harkirat (Associate Consultant – Radiology).
