Former Congress State General Secretary Jasbir Lavan, Along with His Supporters, Joins AAP
Ahead of the Ludhiana West by-election, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) continues to strengthen its position. Former Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary Jasbir Lavan, along with his supporters, has joined the Aam Aadmi Party. The party's State General Secretary, Harchand Singh Barsat, inducted Lavan and his supporters into the party and extended a warm welcome to them.

Chandigarh, June 6, 2025: Ahead of the Ludhiana West by-election, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) continues to strengthen its position. Former Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary Jasbir Lavan, along with his supporters, has joined the Aam Aadmi Party. The party's State General Secretary, Harchand Singh Barsat, inducted Lavan and his supporters into the party and extended a warm welcome to them.
Jasbir Lavan has previously served as General Secretary and Organizational Secretary of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee and as a Member of the Labour Welfare Board. Alongside him, Ashok Kumar and Ashwini Kumar from Ward No. 61 have also joined the Aam Aadmi Party.
Barsat stated that leaders from various parties are joining the party, they are inspired by the policies of CM Bhagwant Mann-led AAP government. He added that the inclusion of these leaders would further strengthen the party.
