Former CM Hooda attends Ramlila and Ravana Dahan, extends Dussehra greetings

Rohtak, October 2, 2025: Former Chief Minister and Leader of the Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda participated as the chief guest at several Dussehra celebrations in Rohtak. On the occasion, he witnessed the Ramlila performances and the ceremonial Ravana Dahan, extending his warm greetings to the people of the state and the nation.
Hooda said that Dussehra is a festival that symbolises the triumph of good over evil. The burning of Ravana serves as a reminder that no matter how formidable evil may appear, it is ultimately vanquished by righteousness. He emphasised that the festival also upholds the values of Indian tradition and respect for women, and that these messages should be imbibed in everyday life.
Earlier, Hooda received the greetings of countless well-wishers who came to congratulate him on being elected as the Leader of the Congress Legislative Party. For the past three days, he has been receiving a continuous stream of felicitations from ordinary citizens, Congress workers, and senior party leaders alike. Farmer unions, social organisations, and eminent members of society also visited his residence to extend their congratulations. Expressing gratitude, Bhupinder Singh Hooda assured that he would discharge his responsibilities with sincerity and utmost diligence.
