Focal Point will be a Crime Free Area: Sandeep Sharma ADCP Ludhiana 2

Ludhiana, January 12, 2018: Today Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organization, popularly known as FICO, organized a interactive Session on “Industrial Safety & Security” with Shri Sandeep Sharma PPS Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Ludhiana-II along with Shri Amandeep Brar Assistant Commissioner of Police South, and Shri Bittan Kumar SHO Focal Point.

Shri Sandeep Sharma PPS ADCP Ludhiana -2, said that Industrialists have to play equivalent role to tackle the crime, he insisted on to preventing the crime rather than curing the crime. He said that Industry needs to Install Good Quality CCTV Cameras with Night Vision inside and outside of their industrial units, also the DVR’s of those cameras need to installed at the most secure location of the factory, so that if some incidents, happens the DVR’s should stay safe. Also he insisted on making PCR points in Focal Point, which are to be regulated by the industry, this will also improve the efficiency of the PCR. The patrolling on pay days, i.e. 7th to 12th & 22nd to 27th of every month, will be on higher sides in the industrial areas & focal points. Regarding smoothing of traffic flow with in the city, he said that police is already working on it, and with the suggestions from industrialists the work will be done more efficiently. He also responded to the queries of the members present and suggested the best solution to the problems. He further insisted on to prevent the crime will be better than to cure the crime.

Shri Rajeev Jain Secretary, Shri Jaswinder Singh Bhogal Executive Member, Shri Subhash Lakra Executive Member, shared their views on industrial safety that has to be taken care off by the industrialist himself. Also providing the training to the staff to tackle the bad situations has also been discussed. It is better to be alert than to be a victim.

Shri Gurmeet Singh Kular President said that the schedules are important but the safety comes, so the night patrolling should also be started in industrial areas & focal points, as there are industries that are working 24 hours, also to provide safety to the laborers & to the industry the Night patrolling will reduce the chance of crimes to occur.
